Teenage friends find their lives upended by the wonders and horrors of puberty in this edgy comedy from real-life pals Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg.
John worked as assistant composer to award-winning Scottish film composer Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Brave), preparing and arranging music for orchestral recordings on the sixth season of the Netflix hit-series Big Mouth.

John's specific role was Orchestration Preparation, which consisted of taking Patrick's midi arrangement from Logic Pro and using it to prepare the sheet music for symphony orchestra for the recording sessions.

John composed the original soundtrack for the audiobook. The score has a strong Celtic influence but also employs full orchestra for some of the more epic scenes.

Folk hero meets folk horror! LINCOLN GREEN mixes the legend of Robin Hood with the supernatural in a bold new story.
John composed the original soundtrack for the multimedia comic book. To capture this supernatural folk-horror, the score is comprised of a mix of old folk instruments from Britain and Ireland, haunting female vocals, classical orchestral elements and synthesisers.

It also features a solo piano score in Act 2.

An operetta created for the Charity Anthology TALES FROM THE QUARANTINE based on the short story by Frazer Brown (Libretto) and Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead) who created the artwork.
The piece, inspired by real events in Florence, Italy during the Covid-19 pandemic, shows a man who, saddened by his isolation, takes to his balcony to serenade his neighbours. At first, it seems the neighbours are bothered by this unexpected performance, as they retreat back inside, and the man finds himself deeper in isolation. But then suddenly, the woman calls back to him in song telling him he is not alone. The two burst into duet before the final chorus: "A parte, ma insieme, in isolamento" (Apart, but together, in isolation).

John composed the music, which was performed by world-renowned opera singers Christopher Goldsack and Janet Shell.

The epic saga of horror, mystery and animals comes to a momentous climax! Frank has been through a lot. To make matters worse, the various destructive errands that The Pig has been sending Frank on have attracted the attention of local law enforcement. The walls seem to be closing in, just as Frank has started to make some real progress in solving the mystery of his missing family - farm life isn't easy.
